eVISA Malaysia Application Online

The eVISA application is now open for Traveller From Singapore. Both Single Entry Visa (SEV) and Multiple Entry Visa (MEV) applications are available for all nationalities that require an eVISA. However, it is important to note that all visa applicants must comply with the terms and conditions set by the Malaysian government.

Individuals holding passports from the listed countries must acquire a Malaysian visa prior to their travel to Malaysia.

Please take note that individuals marked with an asterisk (*) are required to travel by air, while holders of Israel passports must apply for a visa and entry permit from the Malaysian Ministry of Home Affairs.

How long will my eVISA be valid for?

eVISA Single Entry Visa (SEV) is valid for 3 months while eVISA holder is entitled to stay for the total of days subjected to eligibility of eVISA holder nationality for each visit to Malaysia.
eVISA Multiple Entry Visa (MEV) is valid for 3 months or 6 months (subjected to your purpose of stay) while eVISA holder is entitled to stay for the total of days subjected to eligibility of eVISA holder nationality for each visit to Malaysia.

What documents do I need to apply for eVISA?

Below are the documents that need to be scanned and uploaded with your application.
Passport sized studio photo;
Passport biodata page with validity of at least more than 6 months from travel date;
Confirmed returned ticket if applicable;
Birth certificate for minor applicants;
Proof of paid accommodation; and
Other supporting documents.

What is the approval process for eVISA?

Your application is subject to approval by the Immigration Department of Malaysia or Malaysian High Commission/ Embassy/ Consulate. Kindly be informed that in the event of suspicion, applicants may be required to supply further documents or be called for physical interview or online video conference with Malaysian High Commission/ Embassy/ Consulate.

Will I have to print out my eVISA?

Yes, you are required to printout and will receive your eVISA in an A4 printout format. Kindly be reminded that your eVISA printout is crucial and must be presented upon your arrival at Malaysia entry checkpoints.

What are the documents needed upon arrival at Malaysia entry checkpoints?

The following documents are required to be presented upon arrival in Malaysia entry check- points:
Valid passport/ travel document;
Valid eVISA printout (eVISA Note);
Boarding pass/ticket/arrival pass if applicable;
Sufficient funds (Cash/Traveler’s Cheque/ Debit or Credit Cards/ e-Wallets recognized by Malaysian Government) to cover your expenses during your stay in Malaysia;
Confirmed returned ticket if applicable;
Proof of paid accommodation; and
Other supporting documents.
